We are accepting applications for Summer
2009.
If
you are looking for an opportunity to serve during summer camp, please consider
filling out an application and submitting it.
We
are looking for Christian young men and young women who believe they are
called to serve campers, counselors, and weekend retreat guests during the
summer. Here are the minimum qualifications:

A
Christian: one who trusts Christ to save him, follows Jesus as Lord, and loves
Jesus above all others
·
At
least 16 years of age
·
Hard
worker or willing to work toward being a hard worker
·
Willing
to learn new job skills and work ethic
·
Ability
to serve others or desire to learn how to serve others
·
Desire
to see God glorified in all you do
Tips for Application
Process:
1. Pray about working at
A.B.C. during the summer.
2. Make sure to turn the
application in on time. All applications must be
postmarked no later than April
15, 2009. If
it will be late, please call us on the deadline date. If the application is
late, it may slow the process of selecting summer staff.
3. Tell the truth.
4. Write in the neatest
penmanship (handwriting) as possible. If you are able to, download the Word
version of the application and type out the information.
5. Answer questions in the
“Questions” section of the application with complete sentences and supporting
Bible verses.
6. Make sure to pick three (3)
people (employers, supervisors, pastor, youth pastor, etc.), not related to
you, who can give a good character reference for you concerning:
a. Your spiritual maturity
(relationship with Christ)
b. Your work ethic
c. Your overall character
7. Provide your each of your
references with a stamped (first class stamped) envelope addressed to Acadian
Baptist Center (for ABC address, click here).
8. Make sure to read
everything carefully.
9. Please indicate on the back
of the application if you have a desire to learn different skills that may help
ministry at camp.
10. Call one week after you
send the application to see if we have received it.
11. Please send a current
picture of yourself with your application.
